This year is going to be very different. Berkshire Maestros raises money for the cause every year, which makes me even more excited to be a part of it. I have been working with Sarah (Reading Music Centre Manager) to plan the events and we’ve decided to have two days of fundraising fun - Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November.
Friday is possibly the day I am currently most excited about. Why’s that? On Friday, we will be asking staff and students to wear a Onesie! - It’s going to be hilarious. Don’t worry, I WILL get pictures of staff and post them in the next post. No doubt they will also end up on our Facebook and Twitter pages so keep an eye out!
Not only will we be having the best time in the office dressed in Onesie’s, we will also be putting our face painting skills to the test! For this, Kate (another Gap Year) and Rebeca (a work experience student) have volunteered their services over the two days so if you like Onesies or want your face to look like Pudsey, you
should come and join us! (I am wondering whether we should make it into a bit of a competition – who can paint the best Pudsey face?!?) Either way, it’s going to be a highly amusing day and I’m definitely more excited for
this than Christmas! Which reminds me - I should probably start my Christmas shopping before the shops get redonkulously busy!
